How do I get to Kapama game reserve ?

 Kapama game reserve is located on the western border of the Kruger National Park in South Africa, and is around 1 hours 45 min’s drive from the KMI airport with Thula Seats transfers & shuttles to reach Kapama River Lodge. Kapama River lodge is the closest Kapama lodge , via the main Kapama entrance gate on the north-south R40 road.

Road travel time from the Hoedspruit Eastgate airport is 15 minutes to reach the main gate situated on the R40 road, overlooking the majestic Drakenberg mountains, and the Blyde river Canyon exit point.

Road traveling times with Thula Seats transfers to the Kapama lodges, once through the entrance gate is around 30 minute, depending on animal sightings or lions obstructing the road. Africa time gets a new meaing during these sightings, as we are really dependent on animals to move from the road for our transfer to the lodge to continue.
